What is Minecraft?

Minecraft is a video game made by Mojang, a Swedish independent video game development company founded by Markus Persson(aka Notch). In it, you spawn in an open sandbox world made entirely of cubes, and you craft stuff out of the blocks of your environment. And you mine stuff, too.
